Serge Feys is a musical chameleon, primarily known as Arno’s regular keyboardist and member of the legendary bands TC Matic and Noordkaap. As a composer and producer, he has worked with both emerging talent and established names, always with deep respect for music. In 2022, he bid farewell to his role as artistic director of De Grote Post, a position in which he stimulated cultural innovation in Ostend for years. That same year, he concluded with an unforgettable tribute to Arno during the Paulus Festival, where more than 10,000 people celebrated the musical legacy of the iconic singer together. With artists like Stijn Meuris, Roland Van Campenhout, and Maurice Engelen, it became an evening full of emotions and a fitting farewell for Feys himself.
In 2024, he brought James Ensor’s world to life musically with the composition for ‘Ensor est un fou‘, a theater piece in which Dries Vanhegen portrayed the eccentric artist. With a live band, Feys created a unique atmosphere that enhanced Ensor’s world in an inimitable way. Serge Feys thus remains an important link in the Flemish music and art scene.
