Willy Willy, born as Willy Lambregt, was an influential Belgian guitarist and musician. As the founder of the rock group The Scabs, he gained national fame. Willy Willy was known for his energetic performances and his impressive guitar playing, combining influences from Belgian rock and the international scene.
The music culture of Ostend formed an important background for his artistic development, and his passion for music was nourished by the inspiration he found in the city and its maritime atmosphere.
Besides his work with The Scabs, Willy Willy also collaborated with many other Belgian artists.
