At the Herreman household, they knew it right away. When little Seppe first made himself heard in Ostend in 1999, it was clear that he could produce an impressive sound from his throat. A star was born! His passion for music grew quickly. At seven, he started at the music academy, learned to play the piano, and took ballet and tap dancing lessons. At 14, he blew everyone away in the final of Belgium’s Got Talent.
During his vocal training in Ghent, he chose the stage name Red Sebastian in 2019 and released his debut album You in 2021. Over the years, not only did his voice grow, but also his confidence. His outfits became bolder, his lyrics more layered, and his stage presence more challenging. In 2025, his big breakthrough followed: with Strobe Lights, he won Eurosong and will represent Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel.
