Jean-Marie ‘Moustache’ Bolle is a born entertainer from Ostend, known for his music, humor, and iconic mustache. His career began at the age of 15 as a drummer, but instead of following the conservatory path – as his parents wanted – he chose his own way. As a DJ and joke teller, ‘Moustache’ became a household name in Ostend.
Besides his musical career, he compiled a list of 50 favorite songs of Ostend residents and, together with Piv Huvluv, paid tribute to the former dance halls of Ostend. He remains active outside of music as well: he is the PR and communications manager of a billiards club and is fully committed to the cultural life of his city.
Whether behind the turntables, on stage, or in Ostend’s cultural scene, Moustache always ensures a great atmosphere and a smile.
