A stand-up comedian and TV personality born in Ostend and one of the most original voices in Flemish comedy. He broke through in the early 2000s with his sharp, often provocative humor and a hefty dose of self-deprecation. What truly makes Lamoot unique is his hilarious talent for re-editing and dubbing existing videos. With videos such as ‘The Vulgar Love Boat‘, he set a new standard for creativity and absurdity, entertaining a wide audience.
Known for programs like De Laatste Show, Comedy Casino and his own show Superstaar, Lamoot regularly incorporates his Ostend roots into his humor. The city, the sea, and the coast are constant sources of inspiration in his jokes and stories.
