Laurent Gaëtan Bailleul is a Flemish actor, comedian, and voice impersonator from Ostend. After his studies at Ghent University, he returned to his old school in Stene as a teacher. His passion for comedy and impersonations brought him to the stage. Guga broke through with his hilarious impersonations in the VTM program ‘Tegen De Sterren Op’ and since 2023 he can call himself ‘The Smartest Person in the World’. His first theater show, Maestroloog, premiered in 2012, toured successfully through Flanders and concluded in a sold-out Kursaal in Ostend. With his live band Radio Guga, he continues to impress; in the fall of 2025, they will be back in theaters with a show full of music, humor, and impersonations. He lives with actress Tine Embrechts, with whom he has four children.
