In summer, you’ll find us here on the urban terrace with a good cocktail and their fresh razor clams with garlic. We’d specifically drive to Ostend just for those razor clams. (Hertstraat 6)
Accidentally discovered a few years ago when we wanted a quick bite before a show at De Grote Post, it has since become our go-to when we still have ‘a little hunger’ after an evening at Lafayette. Deliciously fresh pita and their homemade spicy sauce are truly amazing. (Madridstraat 8)
Le Bassin was recently completely refurbished, making it even cozier for dining. We sometimes come here as a couple, but it’s primarily our go-to spot for family gatherings. The menu is delightfully extensive, featuring plenty of fresh fish. It’s a place where they’ll honestly tell you, “The shrimp are exceptionally not hand-peeled today, and we like to be transparent about that.” (Visserskaai 1)
